Aphelion launched the second Initial Coin Offering (ICO) on the Neo Blockchain on November 15th at 00:00:00 GMT. The Neo Blockchain, based out of Shanghai, China, utilizes blockchain technology and digital identity to digitize assets, to automate the management of digital assets using smart contracts. Aphelion is raising $34 million in this ICO.
AllCode performed all of the technical work for the Aphelion ICO. This technical work started with writing smart contracts to adhere to the NEP-5 standards in C#, and evolved into delivering Aphelion branded versions of the Neo-Gui, Neon Wallet, and Neon Wallet DB based upon the Neo and City of Zion projects.
The Aphelion Neo-Gui is a C# Windows wallet that enables the user to create accounts and interact with smart contracts by communicating with the blockchain locally.
The Aphelion Neon Wallet is a Node.js application based upon Electron, which enables the user to interact with the blockchain remotely without having to download the entire blockchain locally.
The Aphelion Neon Wallet DB is a Python application that runs on Heroku that populates a MongoDB instance with the content of the blockchain.
Most of this code is available on the Aphelion and MobileAWSAllCode Github pages.
